Research Network Conference on Foreign Language Medium Instruction in European Tertiary EducationVon: gna20.-23.08.2008, 09:00-18.00, ZHAW Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften, Technikumstr. 71, Winterthur With the implementation of the Bologna Accords, the European Higher Education Area has become reality and signifies a major step forward in terms of European mobility for students. As a result, the need and requirements for Foreign Language Medium Instruction have increased dramatically. In September 2007 the University Vaasa launched a project to research the availability and accessibility of Foreign Language Medium Instruction in tertiary education, and to promote opportunities for closer collaboration in the field among universities in Europe. In August 2008 representatives from a number of European countries will convene for the second time in Winterthur. The conference is being organised by the ISBB, which has been involved in the Vaasa Project since its inception. |
