Call for Papers: Research Papers in Education, International Policy and Practice in Literacy

Research Papers in Education is hosting a Special Issue in 2009 on International Policy and Practice in Literacy. They are interested in receiving articles on issues of policy and practice in literacy: how policy affects practice; different interpretations of policy in practice; where policy has altered learners' outcomes or where policy has failed to address important literacy issues. We are interested in literacy in the broadest sense, including not only reading and writing in the mother tongue, but also oracy, second language learning and digital literacies.
