The Call for Papers for the International Association of Applied Linguistics (AILA) 2027 World Congress is now officially open.

The AILA World Congress is the leading international event in Applied Linguistics, bringing together scholars, researchers, educators, and practitioners from around the world. Held every three years, the Congress provides a unique platform to exchange ideas, showcase innovative research, and engage in meaningful dialogue on the future of the field.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

AILA 2027 welcomes proposals across a broad range of strands and topics reflecting the full scope of research and practice in Applied Linguistics. Participants may submit abstracts for the following presentation formats:
