The VALS-ASLA Conference 2027 will be held at the University of Teacher Education of the Grisons on 28-29 January 2027. The theme of the conference is “Engaging with language – attitudes towards language(s) in society, family and school”. With this theme, the conference aims to explore the significant role that attitudes towards languages play in various aspects of our daily lives and social interactions from a range of different perspectives.

The call for papers can be downloaded in German , French, Italian, Romansh and English. Please submit your abstracts by 19 July 2026 via ConfTool. The results of the review process will be announced by the end of September 2026.
